Shrewsbury International School Bangkok was founded in 2003 and is affiliated with the prestigious Shrewsbury School in the UK. Since its founding, achievements in the examination hall, classroom, sports field, studios, and stage have established a reputation as Thailand's leading international school. The links between Shrewsbury School in the UK and Shrewsbury International School Bangkok have been integral to the school's success and continue to grow year on year.
Campus & Facilities
The Riverside Campus enjoys a unique and iconic setting on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in central Bangkok, with enrolment currently standing at almost 1,900 students aged 3–18 from 40 nationalities. The campus offers top-class facilities and the support of exceptional teachers recruited mainly from the UK, providing an inspirational environment for every stage of learning from Early Years through to Sixth Form.
Curriculum & Academic Excellence
The curriculum provides structured learning from age 2 to 18, following the Early Years Foundation Stage through five Key Stages, culminating in the advanced A-Level programme for ages 16–18. In 2021, Shrewsbury Riverside was among the world's highest achieving schools, with 88% of IGCSE exams awarded either A* or A grade.
